Forest Educators aren't afraid to get a little dirty...
IWe have passion for getting people connected to nature.
We work long hours in all kinds of weather. We're the staff trainers, and the office assistant, and the janitor and the marketing manager too.
We stay up late looking at YouTube videos on new nature crafts or researching the Swedish Folklore about birch trees.
Our fingers are stained from natural clays & black walnut pigment.
This podcast is for all of the educators who are deep in the trenches, because you are not alone, and I see you. You're part of a larger movement that is changing humanity and we're gonna talk about it! I hope you enjoy the show.
Two Episodes Land Each Week:
Forest Spotlight Episodes
Every Monday, I discuss topics that are relevant to educators who are doing the hard work every day. We dive into important issues like program design, nature awareness, Rites of Passage, tracking, entrepreneurial skills, staff training & more.
Inspiring Forest Leader Interviews
Every Thursday, I discuss the field of forest education (in all of it's many forms), with experts and leaders who share their journeys, their challenges & successes. We hear important voices from all over the world so we can all see our work as part of a greater movement.
